The importance of sea transportation in General Transportation is different. Ulusoy , for years, has worked as agents in sea transportation and gained experience. Thereafter, affiliated with UND, improved its experience and in 1995 established Ulusoy RO Ro Management S.A. and put a target to develop Ro Ro transportation within especially the countries facing to Black Sea by purchasing MV ULUSOY-1 with 42 trailer capacity.

ULUSOY - 1, after serving in the lines within Black Sea such as, Samsun - Novorossiysk, Derince - Ilichevsk, and Zonguldak - Yevpotaria until 1999, was sold and another younger and more modern vessel with the same name with 92 trailers capacity joined the fleet which was later on sold to Karadeniz Ro Ro ve Konteyner Tasimaciligi A.S. The company is presently owning ULUSOY-10 which is scheduled to serve in Cesme-Trieste Line
